Brought in spring with some beauties

After one crazy work week and weekend I told my wife I wanted to go out for a little bit on Sunday morning. I fished for about an hour and a half and was blessed with some beautiful wild trout, and a hold over bow.

All were caught on Lively Legz nymph patterns. Most productive was my LL Grey Squirrel and turkey tail nymphs.

A little shot of the stream.

Here are the trout.

Here is the LL grey squirrel and turkey tail nymph. Quickly becoming my favorite nymph pattern.

Lively Legs Grey Squirrel nymph. I love those legz and they are made in Indiana PA by a great group of guys. Glad to support local business, and up my success rate. It is a win win lol

Beautiful trout, those flies look like a gold ribbed pheasant tail with legs. What size were you using.

SIZE 12. they are tied with turkey tail feather fibers for the body and wincase and grey squirrel for the thorax, lively legz, and 2.8mm tung bead. I like using the tips of the feather with the lighter color for the tail
