Beetles Doing Work

Can't say it's been tearing it up lately, but the beetle has been bringing a few fish to hand. Around 88 in the last two weeks when I haven't been throwing spinners. Here's just some pictures of the fish and sights from those trips for you all to enjoy. Also, if you were fishing a tributary in Union County and lost a "Simms" fly fishing hat, let me know!

Re: Beetles Doing Work

Great pics to capture the color on those trout as well as the surrounding landscape!

I attempted to tie up an orange beetle several weeks ago, getting late in the nite at the time and I was not fond of my finished product and did not try it on my morning outing.

They were hitting my green weenie and I was reluctant to tie on something different.

That looks like a good size brown for that stream.

Thanks for sharing
