It's been about 6 years since I fished the Green Drakes on Penns Creek. I usually prefer more solitude, but I wanted to take Dad up to experience it again. We went below the Catch-and-Release area and surprisingly only saw one other angler, who actually left about 2 hours before dark. The hatch wasn't real great, only a few drakes popping when the sun went behind the clouds, but the spinner fall was pretty good. Dad ended up with 6 and I managed only 7...but I spent the better part of 45 minutes trying to get a 20+ palomino, which seems silly now b/c there were a lot of other active fish. I did finally hook him and after about 30 seconds he came unbuttoned.
I didn't get too many pics of fish b/c the action was fast and furious as the light faded.
