Orvis Battenkill or Redington Drift?

Just got a Redington Classic Trout 7'6" 3wt rod and I'm looking to pair it up with a Orvis Battenkill 1 or Battenkill 2( leaning toward this for increased capacity) or a Redington Drift 2/3 or 3/4. I will be using WF3F flyline. Any thoughts or recommendations on what to reel to go with?

Re: Redington Classic Trout 7'6" 3wt

I always preferred a Cortland 444SL, since the '70's. They have served me well, and when taken care of, will last a long, long, time. Cortland has gone through an ownership change, can't speak for their quality in the past 2 or so years.

Re: Redington Classic Trout 7'6" 3wt

I like Rio Gold or Scientific Angler GPX. I have a Rio textured line for my 3wts and it serves well for my casting. But so does my older Cortland 333 DT. The gold nowadays runs about 1/2 weight heavier than standard and the Grand runs a full weight heavier. SA GPX is nice but all my GPX's are 4 & 5wt lines.

Thanks for for your input Outsider and Bigdady. I went with the Battenkill II reel for the line capacity, balances out perfectly.
