Re: New Reel

Hi! I can help ya out. This question is right up my area. Im an avid angler myself and have owned and used many different fly reels. My suggestion for you would be to try to find a used Ross Rhythm #2 on eBay. They are US made and very nice reels. They go for around 100 or so. My second pick for you would be to go to and click the Lambson Konic 2.0 and add to cart then enter siteoff315 for the promo code and that gets you 30% off it. If you sign up for email with them they will send you coupons all the time for 30 and 40% off anything on the site. Anyways that reel would be about 100 then. Thats a steal for a US made fly reel. Good luck my man let me know if u have any questions at all.

Re: New Reel

"old school" is always an option. the older Pflueger Medalist in a 1494 would be a good choice. made in USA and the value keeps going up all the time with them and you should be able to get your money back down the road if you choose to go another route. just a thought.
