Where do you get them?

Just wondering where you all like to go to get your tying materials. It seems I end up at my local fly shop and Bass Pro. I don't like to order too much stuff online because I like to see it in person.

I will never understand why people can be so blinded by a liar.

Re: Where do you get them?

I get mine at Jim's Sports Center in Clearfield. Its not too far of a trip for me but for you it might be worth it if you are buying a lot to go when they have their sale in the spring. All of their fly tying stuff and most in the store is on a big sale, I cant remember how big of a discount it is but is something like 15-25 percent off.

Re: Where do you get them?

Flyfishers Paradise in State College.

They are very knowledgeable about materials there, because they tie so many flies.

Getting the "really right" material for a pattern makes fly tying go much better.

Re: Where do you get them?

Fly Tyers Heaven in Sunbury is second to none. Make sure you call first.

For fast mail order service, Fly Fishers Paradise in State College cannot be beat.

The Evening Hatch in White Haven is a great shop.

For specific hackle needs(colors, size etc) Charly Collins in Pine City NY is the absolute best.
