FLY SWAP

Is anyone interested in getting a fly swap started? I would be more than happy to host it if we get enough people.

Re: FLY SWAP

I feel pretty confident tying up some Adams dries at this point if we got enough people to swap. [censored] they were catching me fish last weekend so they must look alright.

Re: FLY SWAP

We should try to get at least 6 guys. I was thinking everyone ties 2 flies for each person, pick whatever pattern you would like. If we can get enough guys this week we'll shoot to have flies in the mail by Monday May 18th. If this is too soon for someone we can always push it back further.

Re: FLY SWAP

I would participate, but I can't tie drys to save my life all. I am great with hare's ear nymphs and chernobyl ants and a few other patterns, but everything I tie is mostly subsurface with very few exceptions.

A bad day hunting rabbits beats a good day of anything else!

Re: FLY SWAP

Great! We're already up to 4 if attack jumps in. Anyone else? With all this rain headed our way there has to be a couple more guys willing to jump in.

Re: FLY SWAP

Sounds good susquegander. I think we have enough to get something going. If anyone else wants to join let us know by Saturday so we each know how many flies to tie. I'll PM everyone the mailing address and other info on Saturday night.
