Struble Lake Walleyes

I've done a little hunting at Struble, but never tried Struble for fishing. How do people make out on Walleye in Struble?

Re: Struble Lake Walleyes

Good luck LOL, I spent a fair amount of time down there in the mid 80's thru the 90's hunting them never found any. I saw them pull up the truck and stock it 2-3 times. Tried just about everything(trolling, jigging, slip bobbers, bait, lures etc.)Daytime nighttime didn't matter. Closest I ever came was I found a couple of fillet skins by the ramp one morning.

Re: Struble Lake Walleyes

I fish struble a lot over the spring and summer. My dad caught a 19 inch walleye a few years ago, but nothing since then. I did get bit off a few times which could be walleyes.

Re: Struble Lake Walleyes

Struble is no more good for walleye.
I've heard they don't stock anymore because there was no reproduction.
In the mid to late nineties i pulled a 9 1/2 pound.....bunch of 4 to 6 pound ...and then they shrunk down to little torpedo shaped 2 lbs or less.

Re: Struble Lake Walleyes

I think the PFBC should take Struble off their hotspot list for Walleye. fished it last Wednesday evening. No luck except tons of bluegills. The lake is probably good for cats.
