No musky for anyone?

Not much time to fish for me this year but was surprised to see no success pictures here. Maybe this thread will spark something up. Tight lines!

You want me to put my ear to the ground? Listen for hoof beats? Look for broken twigs?

Re: No musky for anyone?

been a strange summer to say the least. I have some pics but of small muskies. Have had some big ones follow but none in the boat this summer. Water levels and temps have been up and down and have things in my area really messed up.
Best day we should have boated 5. Had 5 hooked and only landed 2 and they where 32 and 31. I lost a mid 40's that day of course...straighten the hook on my brand new phantom softtail. My fault I guess. Thought that a $23.00 musky lure would come with stronger hooks on it. Hooks are changed now but a little late.

Re: No musky for anyone?

The pike sure are biting good while muskie trolling lately!

It's not luck if success is consistent.

I was told on here that posting pics WITHOUT specific information (or with backgrounds blurred) was "gloating." In addition to that, seems most threads turned into arguments. I'm sure some guys are catching them.

Gotta love equipment failures after you work your butt off to get a hookup. I had the same thing happen on a big fish with a 6" jake.

My nephew caught a 45"er on the Allegheny a couple weeks ago. If I can get some pics, I'll get them on here. It was nice!!!

Re: No musky for anyone?

Well that's just stupid haha. I'd be posting success pics on purpose. Man....come to the trout forum. I post success pics constantly with zero location info. If guys dont like it, well, tough luck for them. Beside.....if you catch a big muskie like I know you do sometimes then gloat by all means!!! I would!
