Frech Creek Walleye tips needed!!!

me and my dad live fairly close to French creek and of all the years my dad has been living here he has never fished in French creek. if any body would be able to point us in the general direction in French creek for walleye we would gladly appreciate it. we are not asking for your honey holes but we are looking for general areas. also, if you could give us any tips on the type of tackle that you would use while fishing for walleye in French creek, we could gladly appreciated. Thank You

The entire creek from the State line to the mouth.

Jigs and raps.

Good luck.

White twister tails, small creek chubs, and raps. Stay away from nightcrawlers or youll be left with a mess of catfish and bowfin!

It's not luck if success is consistent.

Yes, original floaters, size 13, black silver, blue silver, gold silver all good colors. Also husky jerks size 12 and 10. Dont overlook rattle traps either, they produce well.

It's not luck if success is consistent.

Spring and fall. Water gets pretty warm in the summer but they're still in there so they CAN bite, they just prefer cooler water temps, you're better off fishing from last light until dawn in the summer.

Re: Frech Creek Walleye tips needed!!!

Hit the Coneaught Outlet just oposite of the Gravel Pit Road off 322. That's where we used to go for them 40+ years ago. I went there the year before last, drove there from Cheser County, in an attempt to recapture some of my youth. I did, and it was great. The sunset itself was worth the trip.

Good night Chesty, wherever you are......
