Musky in the Susquehanna by Tunkhannock

My buddy and I are trying to hit the Muskies once the ice is off rivers, lakes, ponds, etc. Can anyone give me an update on how the Susquehanna is looking? Ok to put a boat on it?

i will be going across the bridge over it today...will let you know..i live 5 minutes away from the river...i think the musky fishing picks up as the summer progresses as i see guys down there quite often in the summer time fishing just for "musky"...only ever had one on one time...years and years ago...was a biggin..me and all my friends saw it jump out of the water right in front of me as it was almost to the rocks i was fishing and it completely cut my line perfectly off...was fishing for bass and walleye and didnt have any leader on

I was out in the Sunbury area 2 weeks ago fishing. We had no problem moving around with a jon boat and plan to head out this afternoon again. Also targeting musky.

I would think you would be fine this time of yr. I dont know that section of the river but the main stem is up and looking good. I guide for them here around Harrisburg Middletown areas. River here is 5'2" right now and water temps in the upper 30's

Are there any musky in the Peach Bottom section of the Susky? Does anybody fish for musky there?
