Cold Weather Advice Needed

Anyone have suggestions what to use in cold weather when fishing from land in 30-40* weather? My son and I tried the other night and just got cold. We used Rapala Husky Jerks, size 12 and 10. Any advice would be greatly appreciated, thanks!

Re: Cold Weather Advice Needed

Walleyes like jigs in cold water, but most effectively fished from a boat. Try a jig with two tones. The top half a dark color, and the bottom half the almost opposite lighter color. This is a killer for walleye. Jig it slow feeling the bottom. Sometimes you will have trouble detecting a strike.

God Bless the USA.
