Pymatuning Walleye/Crappie

Meeting up with some friends this Friday and Saturday on Pymatuning. Looking for some Eyes and crappie.. Have never fished it in the fall usually summer.. We got a report that the resivoir is low. Just wondering what you guys suggest for tackle.. Ive always had good luck with fathead minnows, not a big fan of crawler harness setups.. We usually mark them, drift over them and slam them with fats.. but never fished in the fall.. you guys have a good idea of what depths we should hit first? shallow or deep?

any info is greatly appreciated
