Honkers you don't need to take a week off. I took my dad a year ago. We went out of Port Clinton Ohio for 6 hour there were 6 on us and we came back with 23 walleye out of being able to catch 36. Smallest was 24 and the biggest was 31.

I have to agree with 30-06 Ohio seems the place to go,as of now. Living on the shore of lake Erie and fishing it in Pa.walleyes are slow to catch.I talk to some charter friends they agree. maybe in July the walleys might start biteing in Pa. Weather been nice but winds kept us off the lake alot so far! Going out today see what happens.

Lots of great charters out of Erie. Buckets is probably the most reputable. Fisherie.com has a list of charters on it if you poke around a little.

REALLY??? The walleye fishing in the PA waters of Erie has never been better! Or easier! Fish are scattered from the Ohio line all the way to the NY line. Get to 65 or 70 fow and keep your baits in the top 45 ft. Its really not hard and the PA resident walleyes are considerably larger, on average, than the walleyes of the western basin.

Any of the boats docked at Dobbins will take care of you very well. I'm partial to Buckets though...
