Don't know that you can ever go wrong with chartreuse or fire tiger.

Walleyes are sill being caught in less than 10 feet of water! I am assuming baifish schools are holding there. Floating jigheads with worm, AFF Worm Harnesses and Walleye Wizards, Storm Hot N-Tots and Berkley Flicker S...hads are preferred baits/lures for walleyes right now.

Crappie bite has slowed a bit; some success on crappie rigs or jigheads tipped with minnows in deeper water.

Cafish have picked up this week! Good-size cats have been picked up on trolling worm harnesses while fishing for walleyes.

The Pymatuning Lake Association's Walleye Tournament had 60 teams, with 23 teams weighing fish. The team of Noah Schmucker and David Hershberger won the tournament with a weight of 10.075 pounds. They also won the "Big Fish" pot, with a walleye weighing 7.058 pounds! Full results can be seen at http://www.pymatuninglake.com/2012%20updated%20updates/2012-06-02%20Walleye%20Tournament.pdf.

If guys are really hitting the walleyes, they are not going to tell you what really works and how to present the lure. Its kinda like you know where that big buck is but your not going to tell anybody. It doesn't hurt to throw everything you got.....it might work better then what they are using.

Re: Colors and patterns for Pymatuming Eyes

flocknocker...Well you will never believe it, but just today I was coming across the causeway, and decided to stop at pops tackle, to pick up a few Hot-n tots for Saturday. A nice guy pulled in apre fish, and took out 2 walleye, one 24 and the other 26 and 1/2. And ya know what? He not only showed me the color of the lure, but insisted showing me on my map EXACTLY where he caught them...After profusely thanking him, he winked at me and said " There is one other secret. I smear each and every lure with this.....Been doing it for years. Never lets me down." Some people live to share and help. Small people will keep it a secret, thinking it will all be thiers. There ARE good people out there....
