Re: Canada Fly In Fishing!

Good luck, I always wanted to try a fly-in trip, but have never gotten around to it. I've bear hunted in Cochrane before, the camp I stayed in was Lillabelle Lodge, right on Cochrane Lake.

Catch & release is for guys who don't know how to cook

fish with them several times, always had great fishing. what lake are you going to? if you want to step it up another notch, try going to kesagami, they fly out of the same seabase on lillabelle lake. also have you ever fished lillabelle? i did once, cochrane let me use one of their boats, and caught a boat load of pike, some were very big.

Re: Canada Fly In Fishing!

We are headed to Unknown lake for our 3rd time.. We have been going with them for over 20 years. We fished most of their lakes, but never Kesagami. Once you get that far north, the weather is so unstable.. We fished Edgar Lake, right next door to Kesagami, it was horrible..... We like the smaller outpost lakes... We usually average 700 walleyes a man, per week... Its soooooooooooooo FUN!!

Re: Canada Fly In Fishing!

i also fish on edgar but spent most of the time on kesagami. the outlet of edar eventually brings you to kesgagami. the bay it come out into is 1 of the best on the lake. never fished unkown, did payntouk, monday, they don't fly that now, edgar. did keagami 3 times. kesagami is the best by far. 100 walleye days and multiple 40"+ pike.

Re: Canada Fly In Fishing!

Yea, lots of guys love Kesagami. We like deeper lakes. Those shallow lakes get rough at times.. We love the out post camps.. You are ALL ALONE.. This means alot to us..
