Hot N; Tots ?

Anyone have a chart as to how deep Hot N’ Tot’s dive in relation to speed, line diameter, and length of line?

Thanks,

Re: Hot N; Tots ?

Don't have a chart. But the smaller ones can easily get down in the 17 foot range with the larger ones down in the 20+ foot range. This is with 10lb test Stren. With the smaller 5 foot pole I cast it out and than sweep the rod forward and let line out doing this 5 times. for 17 foot range. The other pole is 7 footer and it takes only 4 1/2 sweeps of the rod. If you need to go deeper that 20 feet use lead core with the tot. They seem to work best in the 2-2.5 mph range for me.

Re: Hot N; Tots ?

I found it what size tot you need to know about 1/4 or 1/2? I have pages on both. 1/4 goes to 15' with mono 19' fireline, 1/2 goes 23' with mono. This is the max depth on the chart depending on how many feet back. If you are looking for a specific depth let me know and I can tell you how far back it needs to be.

Re: Hot N; Tots ?

It only showed mono in the book not Fireline for the 1/2 but this gives you an idea what you can get. You looking for a specific depth to target? Where you located, might be easier to copy it and give it to you if close.

If you run 200' of line out on Arthur you're likely to have 3 sail boats between you and your lure.
You trying for eyes?

LOL!! There’s truth in those words…

I took one 20 inch eye this morning from there. It can be a tough lake.
