Pymatuning Questions

Thinking about making a trip to Pymatuning. I called the Linesville Campground and they said you are not allowed to park a boat/trailer at your campsite. They said they have "overflow" parking to accommodate boats. I am not too keen on having my boat sit where it won't be watched. Does anyone have a recommendation on a place to stay that allows for boat parking at your site that is close to linesville Marina? Also outside of the campground is there anywhere that has a fish cleaning station around linesville?

Thanks

Re: Pymatuning Questions

That's news to me!!! Been staying there a couple times a year for 30+ years and have NEVER been told anything about not keeping boat on site. Most all of the campers up there have boats and keep them at the camp site. I'm with you, NOT gonna leave the boat away from camp!!!

My folks always stayed at the Tuttle point camp ground and kept the boat on site.

I don't have ducks. I don't have rows. I have squirrels. And they're drunk.

Tuttle point.....this will date me....I recall going swimming and fishing at Tuttle point when all that was there was one small dock and I guess you could call it a beach.

I caught bluegill by the buckeloads on bass poppers and some of the biggest bass with a night crawler and a medium bobber. Toss it out there...sit on a chair...that was fishing!!!!

They say it is only for a time, but it has been closed for the last 3 years straight I think.

Re: Pymatuning Questions

We say at linesville when up there boats say right at the campsite. Unless they changed something this year for some reason.

You might try orchard & snodgrass launches, went past tuttlepoint last night and still closed.
