Allegheny River Fishing

I was wondering if iy was possible to fish the Allegheny from Warren down to tionesta in a 16' semi Vee alum. boat.
I have a 9.9hp on it. I would like to fish for muskie in the summer and i really don't wnt to fish from a canoe. any advise and info will be appreciated.
Thanks,

If you are going all downriver...I would say yes, especially after the Borkenstraw enters it at Irvine but I would wear shorts and sneakers cause there likely will be a time or two you gotta jump out and tug her along for just a little bit at summer flow even if you got a good chute, you amy not be able to hit them all perfect. But no riffle is so long that will be a big problem.

For the MOST part stay to the right of the major islands on the way down least til Tidioute..

Wave when you pass...I am riverfront a mile+ past the brige of Rt 62, better yet pick me up and take me fishing, especially if I am cutting the grass or fixing the house, etc.....LOL This is what my place looks like from the river.

I agree with John, and his directions to stay to the right are spot on in my experience too.

Is that a short or long shaft 9.9? If long...you could be in trouble.

The Island below Starbrick launch might be a left side, as the right has water but lots of rip rap rocks from the tracks, then all rights.

I would tilt in all the riffs, and no fast speeds, pools end quick.
