Re: Walleye Jigs

Look pretty good, Did you do them yourself? My dad has been painting jigs and harness blades like crazy the last month. I think hes extremely excited about walleye season this year after buying his new fishing rig.

Re: Walleye Jigs

I wish I had a talent to be able to paint like that. No I did not paint those.

Re: Walleye Jigs

Wow !!

Nicely done, whoever painted them !!

I'd pick the top one and the 3rd one down for 'eyes. Would actually rather have them even a bit lighter/brighter in the chartreuse areas.

Re: Walleye Jigs

Guess a feller could finish coloring them to suit with a Twister tail easy enough.

LOVE the realistic eyes !!

Re: Walleye Jigs

Those are nice. Where I fish they would be a waste. If I do manage to keep a jig on for more than 12 casts the paint is wore off from all the rocks. I probably go through 12 jigs day. I catch just as many walleye on jigs with half the paint missing as ones with all the paint on them.

Re: Walleye Jigs

Looks to me that there is a Heavy coat of clear coat on them. I would guess might take alittle beating before you get the paint off. I haven't used them yet but will be soon and will post results.
