Birth of a pike

Went up to northern New York to find some Ice. I recorded a Pike coming through the ice, not a huge fish but I thought an amusing view of one. Click the picture and it should play.

I couldn't use my cell phone because it was picking up Candian cell Towers and I would have been charged with international charges! Its suppose to be warm up there all week as well so I doubt the ice season will last much longer!

Re: Birth of a pike

We're sitting on 20+ inches of ice here, ice fishing should hang on for a few more weeks.

Re: Birth of a pike

Cool catch, nice to see some pics of the ice. If we have another year like this next year, I may have to do some traveling. I don't want to go two years in a row.

thanks for sharing
