Repair of plastic/rubber baits

What do you guys use to mend tears in dawgs and other rubber baits? Do you have to buy the plastic welder and pay shipping from specialty stores or will something from the local Lowe's or hardware do the trick?

Let me know.

Something now working copy and past up top.

As Charles Barkley says, "I may be wrong, but I doubt it".

I use the lure weld from shack attack. It works really well, but before that I just used a little butane lighter and melted them back together.

I have a lot of lighter welded favorites. But I'm sure the products out there would make repairs better/easier!

There is always a season!
