I haven't been out yet but have been in contact with a few guys that have. All the fish last year that were 13-15 inches are legal now. Not many throwbacks being caught now. They are still walleyes...when the weather is good the limits are coming pretty easy, when it is not still a struggle.

You should be able to fill a cooler pretty fast with 17-20" fish. They are all over the lake right now and very aggressive. I volunteer for a Walleyes for Wounded Heroes event the week after your there and I plan on casting in the mornings and trolling later to give the Heroes a break. It is going to be a fun bunch of years on erie for walleye.

Was just up on Friday. 6 of us went out with sea breeze charters. We all caught our limit. One that was caught was 31" 14.5 lbs. a real hog. One 28" and one 27.5". We were 8 miles from shore and were trolling. Good luck.
