Lower Delaware Walleye ?

After loosing Brunner Island I am going to stay closer to home and hit the Delaware for Walleye. Does anyone have any luck around the New Hope area? Have a few spots in mind but from the little I've found online parking is a pain. Looking to wade fish and possibly eventually from a boat.

I have done well with walleyes by the walk bridge in new hope. A 1/8 oz jig with a mister twister or something along them lines will work. I caught a larger flat head catfish up there on a swimming minnow. Pearl white is a good color

I'll have to give the area a try. Thanks for the info. Were you fishing from boat or land?

From the shore line. Invest in a pair of hip boots. It’s not that deep up there but you’ll be able to hit more spots.

Yeah I'll be using either my duck waders or trout waders depending on water temp. Hopefully will be going sometime this week to give it a shot. Chartreuse jigs with chartreuse minnows/twister tails along with live bait will be my options. Hoping to get a few I do love catching walleye.

I've seen some nice ones come out of there by the New Hope wing dam.

Good luck. There is a park on the jersey side called bulls inland I believe. That is one spot we park an fish the river. Hit the creeks that dump in to the river an you should do good. The bridge are the next best thing. You can fish on the jersey side with a pa lic too just so you know
