Nightcrawler on a floating jig, just enough splitshot to keep it clost to the bottom.

Re: your favorite walleye bait.

A nightcrawler hooked once through the head on a No. 4 red, short shanked hook on a Li'l Corky rig with a flat, 1 to 2 oz. sliding sinker. Great in the 3 rivers.

Re: your favorite walleye bait.

White or chartruese curly-tail jigs tipped with some bait has probably caught more for me than anything else.

rosy red minnow on a floating jig head, big spitshot about 10in above minnow. or fresh creek minnows. minnows must be 2-3 1/2in long. this set up works very well for me

Re: your favorite walleye bait.

I make a floating jig out of a circle hook and bait it with either a nitecrawler or minnow and fish it about 12" off the bottom.
