Some of those walleyes are above average from what ive experienced.
Anyway it appears you had a good trip.
What is your primary fishing method, trolling?

Slot Limits

Slot limits were implemented on the Gouin last season. Just about all of Quebec's zones have slots nowadays. I'm in favor of these regs as are most folks and where the have previously existed the fishing as improved dramatically. The walleye slot on the Gouin zone#14 is 12.5" to 18.5" for keepers. These are the best eaters too....win-win in my book.

I caught most fish jigging with a 1/4oz jig with a 3" gulp alive minnow but also trolling floating stick baits w/bottom bouncer. I've been fishing various sections of the Gouin for nearly 40 years and can't wait to return. FT

Is that a fly in only, or can you drive to that location?

Wow those are some dark 'eyes, cool to see how their color can vary.

Nice going, but I wonder if up there North of the border I'm allowed to shoot some with my bow so I can ruin the jig fishing season too?

" it is forbidden to fish walleye with a bow, a crossbow or a spear in zones 3 to 8, 13 East, 13 West, 14 and 26."

Sorry, no easy button for walleye in Quebec. That leaves you out from catching walleye as learning to use traditional equipment is too hard for you to master.

Years ago it was fly-in only but now can be reached by driving (or float plane). FT

I was having a little fun, sorry, clearly it was a joke and a play on your snowflakey signature. I've never actually bowfished and thankfully don't know of anywhere you can do so for walleyes...it appears walleye fishing is one thing we do share in common, nice going.
