Post Ice lake walleye

was looking to get out after the thaw and before the season closes. I've never fished the lakes this time of year and was looking for suggestions.

Re: Post Ice lake walleye

When hunting over there in flinter season, guys were telling me how they walk along the shorelin when water was down tossing jigs and suspending lures toward the ice and catching eyes. On the points in shallower warmer water. Been lookin to get over there to try things out.

its gonna be a haul for you but pymatuning offers some fantastic post ice eye fishin.
If you like full contact fishing head to the linesville spillway mid march. This famous location where to "ducks walk on the backs of carp" is a spectacle to see for mid march walleye!
