World Record at Glendale Lake

My family was visiting the Benner fish hatchery in State College and came across this. Our family fishes at Glendale and we had no idea. It looks like this record might never be broken!

Not only is my short-term memory horrible, but so is my short-term memory.

I was younger, but remember that happening. Haven't heard of anyone even catching one for a long time.

If you're having trouble hunting for deer,
don't wish things were easier;
wish you were smarter.

I recall it also. The state quit stocking them,i thing,prior to that one being caught?
I wonder if they just bred with our Pike and just faded away.

Re: World Record at Glendale Lake

I remember seeing the fish at one of the tackle shops back them, to be honest it wasn't even close to the size of the other pike/muskie and didn't draw that much attention when the guy brought it in, just that it was a different species, I live about 5 miles from the lake and haven't heard of any being caught in many years..tough place to fish!

Very interesting, thanks for sharing!

The jobs are all gone and they are never coming back. Thanks for buying that import.
