Susquehanna Muskies

Hey Guys. Headed out to York around the warm water discharge later this week and just wanted to see if anyone was having any luck up that way for musky or smallies from shore. I've never been up that way so anything would be appreciated. Thanks a lot.

Don't fish that area. Good luck though!

There is always a season!

Re: Susquehanna Muskies

It started pumping warm water out the beginning of December. Fished it early december and caught two muskies and lost two one day. Was back a few other times but water was low and clear and didnt have much luck. Talked to some other guys that were doing good catching smallies on minnows. Want to get up again when the water is up.

Re: Susquehanna Muskies

What is the area called? Sounds like a sweet place. Is there a boat launch?

Re: Susquehanna Muskies

Its Brunners Island... Mount Wolf, PA area. Its about a mile or two down stream from the Met-ed catwalk area and I think there is a boat launch there. It is usually packed with fishermen when the fishing is good. Majority of people just fish from shore but I do see a boat every so often. Good luck!
