Pickerel

Pickerel are one of the few fish in PA my Dad and I haven't caught we'd like to get into a few next year.....Washington county is home and camp is in Elk county.....Any recommendations???

Gallitzen St, Park is the only place I've caught pickerel.

I understand that some have been introduced imnto sugar lake in Crawford county. They are native to the Susquehanna and Delaware watersheds, do head east

They are in almost every stream in central Pa. highest populations are in streams that are not stocked.

Our lakes are full of them here around Tioga and Bradford counties. Especially the stocked trout lakes.

I believe the Yough River & Lake are the only places you will find them anywhere close to Washington Co.

Very few in the Yough dam. Deep Creek lake in Maryland however is polluted with them

Lake Arthur after ice out in spring. Can hardly keep them from hitting while bass fishing the weed beds.

High Point Lake heading up to Mt. Davis. Good ice fishing. Stay on the shallow end, it's full of stumps.
