Pymatuning shore fishing

Has anyone been doing any good fishing from shore with chubs for walleye at Pymatuning Lake? What is the water level like now? Is it real low?

Re: Pymatuning shore fishing

Water level is low. I hunted ducks there Tuesday and walked almost all the way around Tuttle point and never got wet and I was wearing hip boots. Have heard a few reports of guys tearing up they're lower units on the mid lake humps. Keep an eye over at Fish USA .com for posts of the bite. Quite a few guys that live near the lake post there.

Re: Pymatuning shore fishing

Thanks for the heads up on Fishusa. I just got registered and it looks like a great forum. I used to live just above the Jamestown launch and fished a ton. I had to move to find work so I don't get down there much anymore. I sure miss living beside that lake. I planned on shore fishing this weekend but decided to pass due to the weather. Thanks again.

Re: Pymatuning shore fishing

FishUsa members are very quiet with their help. Seems to be they want all the fishing just for themselves.

If you are going fish from shore wading the Tuttle Point area would be the best
