Lake Erie Walleye/Perch Charter Out of Erie Pa

Looking to schedule an all day walleye & perch fishing charter out of Erie in mid-July for 4-5 people. Does anyone have any good experiences or recommendations on a boat/captain?

I would not try to do both on the same trip... For peach you can go on the Edward John...it is a party boat...can take about 30 people or so...only 30 some dollars per person...if paying for a private charter I would go for walleye all day....good luck.

Buckets charters, Vision Quest, Bomber charters will all get you on walleye up in Erie but I just looked at VQ's website, Dreamsteelie.com and it looks like they are totally booked for the entire summer.

You're going to have a really hard time finding a walleye charter that has availability this close to that time frame. MAYBE if you can do a week day trip but unless you find someone with a cancellation, even that is unlikely.

For perch, just go on the Edward John or one of the other head boats. 2 trips per day, one early morning, one early afternoon (weather depending). They fish EVERYDAY for the exact same thing so they are on them if anyone is. Plus it's only $30-40 / head and you need no equipment or bait and they'll clean and package your fish for a couple extra bucks.

Buckets 3 is running 7 days a week now so they probably have weekday openings. A weekend opening will be tough to come by.

If you don't mind a couple extra minutes ride to Conneaut, Ohio call Corky of Northern Sky Charters.

Eyecon is out the Northeast Marina. We have enjoyed a pile of trips with him. The kids love him.
Also in Northeast Marina is Roadrunner charters. He is my favorite.
Wife's favorite is Aquamist.
