Yep. Drifting with the current bouncing jigs tipped with minnows off the bottom.

Dear god!!! Combat fishing at it's finest. Worst then the worst opening day of trout traffic I've ever seen. Guess they like their walleye up there.

Actually it wasn't bad at all, keep in mind that everyone is vertical jigging and floating along at the same speed. Kinda nice to drift down through bsing.

I've fished the Maumee River and it's shoulder to shoulder there plus the boats. I'm guessing that was the same situation there where you were.

Makes the first day of trout around here look like a tuesday in July on the streams. LOL

We had thought about the Maumee but it looks quite a bit smaller than the Detroit, plus no one wades the detroit, drops off way to quick. How was the fishing there?
