You want me to put my ear to the ground? Listen for hoof beats? Look for broken twigs?

Re: Cortland toothy critter?

A guy I knew used tie-able wire on his tip-ups a few years back. Don't know if it was Cortland or not(he did find it in a fly shop) We didn't find any musky but it worked OK on pickerel and a few smaller pike(so did my 17lb mono)

Re: Cortland toothy critter?

Haven't used it. Depending on what I'm fishing, i use single strand wire or 100lb floro.

There is always a season!

Re: Cortland toothy critter?

i use single strand on many lures but love the 21 and 49 strands from leaders and lures
