I am guessing the number of guys at their camps for the first day will be down. As of right now I plan on being there. I enjoy that weekend a great deal just for the socializing factor and I usually can find a brookie stream with little to no pressure. Hopefully the sun is shining and the fish are biting!
I avoid opening weekend but usually camp at Loleita in the ANF for a week in early season but wouldn't this year even if the campground was open. I'll stick close to home, maybe a day trip to the ANF but its a long drive.
Not really sure if I'm going to risk it with the crowds. My backyard is right up the the Delaware Canal, and I do catch trout there each year after they have a chance to disperse, so I'll likely play homebody rather than socialize like normal.
