Thank goodness i found my sweet part of heaven up there i may be lucky to see 1 person. Its like i have the whole river to myself. Its peaceful and relaxing and yes its public land on the Salmon river. No one wants to walk that far lol

I'd never go down the river in a drift boat on the weekend. Can only imagine the tings you saw.

I’m glad there are people who enjoy fishing in crowded conditions. I’m not one of them.

Pretty relaxing way to see a lot of the river....
As far as wacky things, I did have a guy cast while we were going by and he hooked our anchor rope which I promptly got out my plier/cutters and snipped his line and kept his very nice fly ..
Luckily, he did not hook one of us ....
My friend uses a rescue whistle which is very load and still people do not hear us until we are right up on them....
I will tell you that the drift boat wins every time if you choose to stand your ground....
