Property posted , Stanton road , Backcreek

I didn't fish opening day, went yesterday to a small stream I have fished the past few years. As I'm driving up the road, Stanton road, to fish Backcreek started seeing No Tresspassing signs, which had not been there before. I haven't been on this road for a couple few weeks. So I thought I got past the posted area and pulled over and fished a couple hundred yards of stream. No success, water was up a little. So I walk out to the road and see more No trespassing signs, whoops. During my fishing time I came across at least 7 deer carcasses, some in garbage bags some just dumped. So a pretty piece of stream lost presumeably cause of people dumping deer. Good ol Fayette County.

Devil's advocate...They could have been taken legally, then dumped illegally.

Carcasses as in whole dead deer, or as in what's left over after butchering? Being that some were in bags, I assume the latter. I used to know a guy that had land in a pretty remote area, and he often had piles and/or bags of parts next to the road. Real nice, right? I doubt signs will deter these losers from dumping deer remains.

Never said they were killed illegally.... Besides the illegal dumping.

Maybe try contacting the landowner and volunteer to clean up the garbage if he will allow fishing again?

I was thinking of attempting to clean the property. Not sure where I would haul the carcasses to for disposal. Maybe try to schedule with game Commission? I'll see. Given the area would become a yearly chore.
