Epic mentored day

My daughter had an amazing morning. Mixed it up between some stockies and wild browns. Biggest of the day was a 21" wild brown, caught two 17" stocky browns, 16" stocky brown and golden bow, 15" stocky brown, 13" wild brown, and a big sucker.

That is a wonderful day for you and your kids. I took my son out today to Laurel Hill Creek and it was a long day with no fish caught, I'm not sure if or when they stocked but there were no fish to be found.

I looked at the stocking schedule and it doesn't appear as if they will be stocking before the opener, I know a few guys that head to Laurel Hill Creek for the opener and I can't see it being any better if not stocked before then.

Thats awesome. Great looking fish.

Took a ride around this morning to check some streams for next weekend. More adults than kids fishing. Pulled into a hole I usually fish on the opener. Mom and dad were in the middle of the hole fishing and their two kids were downstream 100 yards playing in the mud.

I support all hunters, regardless of weapon or technique!

Great day!

Got my 4 yo grandson out with a friend of his Dad and his three kids that are a few years older. They all kept giving the youngest the rod to reel them in. Almost all the older crowd seemed to be doing the same not just us. Kept one to cook him for dinner. He's hooked. Thank you to the PF&BC.

If Sunday hunting was not already illegal, who among us would not laugh at making it so?
