Stocking trout into your own pond or streams

Is there anywhere in western PA to buy trout to stock in your own ponds or streams? We are looking to buy some to let the kids fish. I got a pond and about 2 miles of streams on my property.

Thanks

I know many sportsmans clubs buy trout for their ponds for kids. You could check with them also.

I would stick with browns and rainbows for your pond. A little more hardy trout then others. Your pond should be 8 ft or more deep to survive the winter months. Rule of thumb,Up to 300 trout per acre size pond. For creeks a few good holes and ledges your good to go. I'm pretty lucky with my creek It's stock each year by the Fish Commission with rainbows, 40 to 50,000 each year. 70% are fingerlings. Creek runs into Lake Erie.

I believe it's a $500 minimum order for delivery.
