Who ponies up? - Voluntary Wild Trout

Just curious to see if anyone here contributed to the $26.90 Voluntary Wild Trout and Enhanced Water Permit.

Personally I did not as I do not trout fish like I use to. I think I trout fished three or four times last year. Once with my son on his last season of youth day and a couple times with friends and once alone. I’ve just lost interest in it.

I bought it. I got my license, the trout stamp, the voluntary permit and the alternate display pin.

I bought my license, trout stamp, and voluntary wild trout permit in December. I haven’t been out fishing yet in 2019. Due to the weather, it looks like it is going to be awhile before I can hit the streams.

Don't trout fish, but did order the license button, Boy O Boy, there sure is no sense of urgency in mailing those out, I believe it's been more that a month since I ordered and as of yesterday no delivery yet.

My guess is that this man made global warming we are currently experiencing has something to do with the delay.

Button

Got my button wed. Jan. 30th. 7 weeks and 1 day. They tell you 6 to 8 weeks. Pa. fish & boat comm. license div. told me, and I quote, " It takes 6 to 8 weeks, She is real slow. " Okay, whoever She is.

I don’t buy the button because I would lose that too! Lol. I can’t tell you many licenses of mine are “lost” in the woods somewhere while tangling with brush to get into the stream.

I’ve been buying online for many years and my habit is to save the PDF to my Google Drive, print one for the boat, print one for the pack and then take a pic of it signed on my phone. I do wish they would adopt not requiring it displayed but then I guess that would kill the button thing.

I know what wild trout are.

But what does "Enhanced Water" refer to?

I no longer fish for trout much(I'll buy a stamp now and then but not regular) so no I haven't bought any of the voluntary stamps. HOWEVER for quite a few years I have been mailing both the PFBC + PGC an extra $20 check to use as they please.
