Daughters first trophy brown

My little girl got her first "assistance free" trophy brown tonight. She lost one rainbow that was a jumper and broke off a big rainbow earlier in the day but finally got this guy to the net. She's caught much bigger fish with me helping on the rod but at 16" this was an awesome fish. And she got a lesson in catch and release, especially wild fish. She did get to keep one brookie that swallowed the hook but she is loves trout and the crispier the skin the better.

Good for the both of you. Nothing beats a smiling little girl holding a good trout. Oh, I remember the days. Cherish it, they grow up to fast.
