World class browns...just up in NY

Had to work for them this year! Quality over quantity.

Happy Thanksgiving!

Wow! Great browns!

What were you using?

I haven't fished there for years due to the crowds. Were there lots of other anglers?

Thanks!

I float fish everything from beads, brown trout eggs to jigs. This trip the small glow peach trout bead was the winner...even over real eggs? Got a few on jigs as well.

Good luck!

What about the crowd? How many other people were fishing?

It's tempting to go there, especially when I see pictures and videos like yours, but the number of people I've seen there in the past has kept me away. I hate fishing in crowded conditions.

It can definitely get crowded...but if you go mid week and once NY fun season opens its not as bad. Anywhere you have a legit shot at a 10-14lb hook jaw make brown with full fall colors you will have people! Good luck!
