9/21 Salmon River Report

A buddy of mine is friends with a charter boat/drift boat guide at Oswego. He said fish that were in river went back into lake, too warm. They are hammering them in the lake. Said catching fish with hooks in their sides from the river.
Decided to head to the Salmon River instead of Oswego. We fished above the sportsman pool. A few fish around. I went 2-11, my buddy 1-3 (newbie).
Guys from work fished the ballpark. They had a lot of hook ups and landed 6. Next they went by Altmar and found about 50 fish laying in a pool with nobody else around. They caught a few there as well. Big difference compared to weekend, very little fishing pressure.
