Genie Jar

Has anyone used the Genie Jar? I'm thinking I might not carry around my galvanized can this year. That also brings me to another question: When you have carried the can, do you put it over your shoulder, strap it to your vest, hook it to your belt loop? I hook it to my vest and let it drift in the water, but I'm curious what the actual intention was when it was invented.

I don't bait fish but if it keeps guys from leaving styrofoam containers all over the place I'm all for it.

Did you check it out? Looks kind of neat. I think I will pick one up and give it a try. I just hope that the pieces to it don't float down the stream the first time I use it.

I've used it for when I fish minnows and I love it. Makes everything pretty simple and is pretty user friendly. And I hook it to a shoulder strap.

I just use a plastic Gatorade bottle. Free and can store in my vest.
Don't have to worry about tripping over it or getting rope snagged while walking though woods
