CRUSH-FEST Water Levels for the Weekend

I'm not planning to fish this weekend but please please please take my word for this. I've analyzed the whole state and if you plan to go out be ready haha! Water levels are the best I've seen in years for the opening day across the board. Everywhere is good. If you're not catching fish tomorrow it's not going to be the weather or waters fault I can tell you that. Expect creeks to be running at full spring time volume with little to no muddy water (assuming no more heavy rain today). Trout are going to take an absolute pounding. There was only one stream that I found in the NE that is offline for tomorrow but there are other issues at play there. SWPA is magnificant. NC and even NE is in great shape. Have fun and practice catch and release whereever possible!!

I was looking for the "like" button on your post. It will be nice to not have to deal with chocolate milk water, snow, sleet and rain on the NW opener for the first time in ages, that's for sure!

Water looks beautiful for fishing, but their calling for 10-20mph winds. That stinks!

Not only is my short-term memory horrible, but so is my short-term memory.

I'm not fishing....but I was thinking the same thing...

The waters look about perfect on the western side of the state...the bigger waters might have a little color left in them (which is perfect IMO).

Good luck to all heading out!
