Where to go in lycoming co?

Heading up to Lycoming county for opener on Saturday with the kids. Anyone have any recommendations where to fish where it is not too crowded?

Tried lycoming creek last yr and it was mobbed.
I'll be staying near Rose Valley lake?
Thanks for any info

I left out rock run because of kids. Great creek. What I have fished of it is Beautiful but tough terrain. Any big holes close to road loaded with people.

Re: Where to go in lycoming co?

I agrre rockrun is a great place to fish but like chester farmer said any holes close to the road will be packed and people wont leave because its easy to see some of the big stockies they put in the holes and roaring branch is a good spot basically anyplace that's a little bit of a walk will be less crowded because allot of people now a days do not like to walk and the bridge t marsh creek is rediculas it looks like the salmon run up at new York

How far are you from Slate Run? I can put you in a great spot if you're near there.
