Took my nephew out today and the streams were still high, fast, and very off color. Probably 8 inches of visibility, as you can see in the picture.
Hardly saw anyone fishing. No one in the morning as a matter of fact. It kinda felt weird fishing this stream with no one around.
We went to a hole I new was there from previous experience that would have some slower moving water out of the main current. It started off slow but got a tad better as visibility improved. He managed 5 or 6 trout to the net including the very nice rainbow, which was his biggest freshwater fish ever. He kept this one and another rainbow.
All in all, a tough day for fishing but we pulled it out.
I support all hunters, regardless of weapon or technique!
