Elk/Walnut creek

has anybody been on these the past few days for steelhead was thinking about going up to the salmon river next week but they opened the dam up and it went from 350cfs to 1250 just wanted to get some good solid reports

look on the USGS site for walnut, it and elk seem to be about the same most of the time. if the stage is around 4, give or take, it usually is good. its an hour drive for me to get there and looking at the USGS works good for me. it(walnut) was nice sunday at a little over 4 and a little cloudy, but was looking really good. the fish didn't want to play, but was a nice day to be out.

its a 4 hour drive for me either way if I go to Pulaski or walnut just wanted to see which place was worth the drive
