Saturdays Weather

Rain today followed by rain thursday night, rain friday night possible snow sat morning. . . Between last years archery season and this start to trout season i cant buy good weather when I need it. Precip or muddy creeks are one thing but cold weather and high winds are going to make for a tough day at best. Normally look forward to a few beers and a good meal around a campfire on fishmas eve might be tough this friday. I dont normally mind winter too much but april shouldnt be winter. Will be interesting to see if bad weather=low catch=people more upset about mentored youth. Im sure it wont help that it may be tough to really gauge the MY day impact on a day where catching anything is tough. Glad im off next monday and tuesday.

Re: Saturdays Weather

Ya lots of time yet for the weather to change but it's not looking too awesome for Saturday. Cool with snow/rain possible and a 20mph NW wind. I'm not even heading out so I dont much care but I can think of a few creeks where I hope the fishing is a little slow so my fishing is a little fast later on down the line haha. But of course I hope all the members here on HPA tear it up!!

Re: Saturdays Weather

Come rain or snow on Saturday, I'll be out fishing at some point during the day. I'm not a huge fan of opening day, I just want to post a fishing report on the board to give everyone something else to read other than the Mentored Youth debate threads that have taken over...

Re: Saturdays Weather

We'll have to see how much rain we get. As long as it's not heavy downpours it should be fishable. If it's a washout then early next week might be good with no crowd.

Re: Saturdays Weather

Some people that posted on this thread wished for a total wash out for the kids day. I guess they are getting their wish come true on their own day.

Re: Saturdays Weather

In my area they're calling for it to be sunny and 48. The bad thing is that they're saying it is going to be windy. Even though the wind won't be fun, I'll be out with the fly rod. Good luck.

I will never understand why people can be so blinded by a liar.
