How to make your own minnow rigs

I have a little how to video. These things are very effective on trout. Once you get the materials, they are pretty simple to make.

Split trebles or doubles a loop at end threaded through a redfin with a needle works for me. I guess when your eyes go it would be a help.... Neato

Anybody can shoot deer on the farm ground....You earn it in the mountains.......

Thats a definate try. What color beads have you had the best luck with? With just putting that in the split shank of the double hook, have you ever had the hook spread out if both hooks were not in the fish?

Re: How to make your own minnow rigs

I have just used the clear tubing and those red beads. I have lost a fish a time or two when I would reel in the line and find no hook. But I would catch many in between those times.

I was thinking of buying some chartreuse beads. They would probably work well.

I got most of the stuff from Cabelas because They had a large assortment of supplies. Would like to find a place closer
